My custom product

How do I upload my recording?

First, choose the product you want. Then on each product page you will see “Upload Your Recording”. Select your file and you are all set. You can also put your order and email us your file later.

Can I upload a video?

You might need the audio from a video you have on your phone. In that case you can put in your order, email us the video and we will extract the audio from it.

Are there any limits for the size and format of the recording and picture file?

Yes, the maximum size for the uploaded sound file is 30MB. The file format can be MP3, M4A, AAc, OGG, WAV or MP4.

For the “audible picture” product, the maximum size for the uploaded picture file is 30MB. The file format can be GIF, JPEG, JPG or PNG. Please make sure the picture is 300 DPI minimum.

How long should the recording be?

There is no limit for the length of the recording as long as the size of the file does not exceed 30MB . However, we recommend you to have a minimum of 15 seconds and a maximum of 3 minutes recording. We also advise you to have a loud enough recording.

I received my product. How do I hear the voice now?

There is a QR code on all of our products. When you scan the QR code with your phone, you will be able to hear the recording you have sent us! You can fibd more about how to scan the QR code on this link.

Does anyone else have access to my voice? Can anyone else hear it on your website?

The answer is no. We keep your data safe in our database. Your voice is uploaded to our server and the only way to hear the voice that you uploaded is by scanning the QR code.

Can I see how would the waveform of my sound look like before ordering my product?

If you are not ready to order yet, please Take This Quiz and we will show how your final order will look like before you put your order. We will email you a mockup of your order and you can let us know whether you want it and if you need any changes to be made before you pay.

I want to order a customized canvas size. Will you make it for me?

For further options on customization of your product such as different size, different products and other inquiries, please send an email to and discuss it with us. Please note that any further customization will cost more but the extra amount depends on your request.

I want the soundwave on my T-shirt to be horizontal, not vertical. Would you do it for me?

We are able to make the soundwave horizontal on your t-shirt. Please specify it on your order note and we will take care of it for you. This will not cost you anything extra.

What is the main idea of your products?

Just like how you print your favourite/memorable picture and hang it on your wall, we think some voices are more important to us than just saving them on our phone and never hearing them again! Print the soundwave of it and make your special voice memorable.

What if soundwaveshop goes out of business? Would I still be able to listen to my product's sound?

Yes, absolutely. Even if we go out of business after many years, your uploaded voice is safe on our servers. We guarantee you to save your sound in our servers for a minimum of 3 years starting from the day you get your product.


What are the shipping times and prices?

Delivery estimates

US orders: Most orders are generally produced and ready to ship within 2-5 days. This can increase to up to 10 days during busy periods and sales periods. Once the product is made, it takes 5-7 business days until you receive the order. At checkout we offer one standard delivery method but we are definitely working on adding express delivery for our customers soon. 

Canada orders: Same as above for the production time. It takes 8-15 days transit time for Canvas prints to be shipped to Canada and it takes about 6-10 business days for T-shirts to be shipped.

International orders: Same as above for the production time. 5-7 business days transit time for United Kingdom, 12-14 business days for Australia and up to 10 working days transit time for Europe. Shipping to rest of the world may take up to 21 working days 

All products for all countries will receive an email containing the tracking number once the order is ready to be shipped.

Shipping prices are a flat fee per order:

For canvas (any size): Receive your Canvas print anywhere in the world for $9.95 flat fee

For T-shirt (any size): Receive your T-shirt anywhere in the world for $4.95 flat fee

I ordered multiple products in one order, will they arrive together?

Usually yes, you will receive all items in one parcel. Sometimes T-shirt is completed a day or two before the canvas. In these cases we ship out the T-shirt in one parcel and then send the canvas in another once it’s ready.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes you will get a tracking number. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer support and total transparency about your order status. We’ll email you your tracking number as soon as it’s available. We’ll also send you ongoing email updates about where your parcel is. And we’ll update you on the day it’s due to be delivered! If you haven’t receive a tracking number after 14 days, please email us.

My tracking number is not working!

No worries! Kindly, send us an email and we’ll let you know exactly where your parcel is.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, SoundWave Shop ships unique soundwave prints all over the world! No matter where you are, we can create you something incredibly special.


Do you offer refunds?

Due to the fact that each product is customized and made for you, out of your memorable sound, we cannot accept any returns.

However, if you are unhappy with the product quality, product was damaged or lost in transit, you received the wrong size or print, we would absolutely be happy to replace your order. In these cases please contact us at and provide a picture of the product and packaging, within the period of 48 hours after you have received the package and we will replace your order immediately.

Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?

If you have placed an order recently and you have decided to cancel your order, you can do so within 24 hours. After that we have most likely made your artwork file and sent it for production and we cannot do anything at this point. 

However, you are more than welcome to contact us and in case we have not sent your order for production yet, we would gladly refund you the full amount.

Can I edit my order if I changed my mind?

If you have placed an order but you decided that you want to change the uploaded sound, you have 24 hours to send us an email with the new sound file and we would gladly change it for you. However, if it passes the 24 hour period, it might be too late to make any changes.


Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Paypal

Why am I being redirected to Paypal?

We have partnered with Paypal to make your payment process the safest without you being worried about your card information saved into our database.

Do I necessarily need to have a Paypal account?

No not necessarily! You are redirected to Paypal to make payments and you can just put in your card information without having a Paypal account.
